It is safe to say that 2017 has gone off to a pretty rubbish start – filled with hate, discrimination, and fear but also of protest, hope, and resistance. January is coming to a close and so here is a post to wrap up some of the fantastic books we’ve read – some of which are incredibly important and relevant reads.

→ At the end of 2016, I was in a pretty big reading slump and I only read ONE book which was Unboxed by Non Pratt (which I loved).
